BareFooted's Director Lucy has undertaken a comprehensive programme of training and is subsequently part of The Mighty Creatives, pool of Creative Mentors to help children and young people in and leaving care, to transform their lives through one-to-one and group-based creative intervention.

 

Through the building of trusting relationships and the introduction of creative activities the aim is to support personal, social, and emotional development and educational achievement. Creative activities help children and young people to explore feelings about themselves and their environment and to find a sense of purpose.
